What data do we collect?
Embedded Content
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Mailing Lists & Contact Forms
If you join our mailing list, we will keep the contact information you provide in order to contact you in the future. We will not sell or distribute your information and we undertake to use all reasonable care to keep it private. You should be aware that we may elect to use third-party tools to provide email services.
If you leave a comment on our site you are “opting-in” to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.
Contributions and Subscriptions
We are a fiscally-sponsored project, and contributions are tax-deductible. Data that you provide in the course of supporting this film financially is passed to our fiscal sponsor (From The Heart Productions) and they in turn provide your data to relevant authorities in accordance with the law. We have no control over this process, but we undertake to keep your data private insofar as it is in our possession. If you request that your data be deleted, we will pass this information to our fiscal sponsor and request deletion. There may be legal limits to what data they are able to delete from their records.
Analytics
At this time we are not collecting analytic data. We reserve the right to do so in the future, and any changes will be reflected on this page.
Hacks and Attacks
We undertake to treat your data with all reasonable care, and to guard your privacy. However, we can not be responsible for data breaches due to attacks, hacks or system malfunctions, where we could not reasonably be expected to have prevented these. In the case of such an event, we will contact you in a timely fashion with the information at our disposal.
What rights do you have over your data?
Recovery and Deletion
At any time, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. We will erase all data about you that we hold or control. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for legal requirements.
Data Sharing
Other than mentioned above, we don’t share your data with anyone else. However, visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
